The purpose of this church will be to foster and promote religious belief in Almighty GOD and the
customs of Native American Tribes throughout North America in the worship to our Heavenly Father in
promotion of morality, sobriety, industry, charity, right living and the cultivation of a spirit of self-respect,
and brotherly love and union among its membership throughout North America. We as a people place
explicit faith, hope and belief in Almighty GOD and declare full, competent and everlasting faith in our
church, through which we worship for religion and the protection of the sacramental use of Peyote.
NACNA Bylaws 2012-2015

Peyote is the only plant medicine in the United States that receives explicit federal statutory protection for Native American religious practice. Peyote is not interchangeable with, comparable to, or appropriately
grouped with other substances that lack equivalent legal, cultural, and spiritual standing.
